The National Bible Bee is a competition and organization that aims to encourage young people to study and memorize the Bible. Founded in 2009, the National Bible Bee offers participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the scriptures and develop their memorization skills. The competition is divided into various age categories, and participants are given a set of passages to memorize and study, which they then recite and answer questions about during the competition.

The competition structure involves several stages:

  1. Summer Study: Participants engage in a comprehensive study of specific Bible passages over several weeks during the summer.
  2. Proclaim! Day: At the end of the summer study, participants take a written test and recite their memorized passages.
  3. National Bible Bee Competition: The top participants from Proclaim! Day are invited to compete at the National Bible Bee Competition, where they continue to recite passages and answer detailed questions about the Bible.

The competition aims to foster a love for the Bible, promote scripture memorization, and provide a supportive community for participants and their families. The National Bible Bee also offers resources and study guides to help participants prepare for the competition.

They never utilized the DMs on their social media accounts and were looking for ways to get more registrations. Every summer, they get kids to register for a summer camp that ties directly into the show. People constantly message the page for information, so I was hired to help implement a strategy to enroll more kids into the summer camp from their social media pages and help manage the influx of DMs from their combined 1.7M followers.

Initial Setup: We implemented a DM automation with FAQs to help answer common queries and streamlined the process into a survey DM funnel.

Why It Was Set Up This Way: Given the high volume of inquiries and the need to provide timely responses, automation was essential. The FAQs addressed common questions efficiently, while the survey funnel helped gather detailed information from interested participants.

Objectives:

  • Handle Inquiries Automatically: Provide instant responses to frequently asked questions.
  • Gather Contact Information: Use the survey funnel to collect emails and other relevant details.
  • Increase Registrations: Streamline the registration process to boost camp enrollments.

We came into the picture just four weeks before the campaign was ending and managed to collect over 200 emails, with a 44% click-through rate from lead to landing page and a 10% conversion rate.
